Mission Statement
The Duval County Legislative Office's mission is to keep the State Legislature informed of the needs of the City of Jacksonville and follow funds and legislation requested by local government agencies, citizens and community organizations of Duval County.  

Duval County Legislative Delegation Office History
The Duval County Legislative Delegation Office was established in 1974 as a non-partisan office to serve as the liaison between the delegation members and local governments, community organizations and citizens. Members of the delegation are the three state senators and eight state representatives who represent Duval County in the Florida Legislature.

Responsibilities
The office provides support services to the 11 delegation members by monitoring legislation and processing local bills and appropriation issues.  We are responsible for scheduling and coordinating all delegation meetings, as well as maintaining all records and files of the meetings.  The Delegation Office assists the chairman and members of the Duval County legislative delegation prepare for legislative sessions and the meetings of committees and subcommittees of the legislature.
